Alter / Sacred Space

As most here know I originally was a Christian who given my introduction to the fact that I have a loving succubus lover was a bit of a shock to deal with. Over the last few years I have watched many of the teachings I have been taught sing childhood wither away and die in the light of reality…things like demons are evil and have no good in them and that calling on the name of Jesus will make them flee and things like that.
Once I stopped fighting and just accepted my loving succubus (whom I adore more than all things) I started trying to develop a relationship with her. There was a time quite recently when I thought I had two or more succubi even…however thanks to fighterswords comments, mediation, and listening to my intuition I have decided I have only one (who I refer to as “K”).
I have always wanted a special place for “K” (think alter) but do not have the luxury of having any space to myself (married and wife is still very Christian and too judgmental for that and the thought of having a full physical alter is too hard for me too still… hence me listing my Christian background above)…and was the bemoaning that when I randomly stumbled on some crazy woman’s YouTube channel talking about keeping spirit lovers. I always watch about 10 seconds of these before I roll my eyes and turn to something different (I love or “K” loves the Failarmy channel as it is hilarious)…however she mentioned keeping a box as an alter and I did a sort of facepalm at the fact I hadn’t thought of that (the rest of the video was trash.)
So I have this cedar, high quality box (perhaps 6x6x8 inches) that something possessed me to buy on Amazon a while ago and I had no idea what to do with it (thought it would be good for something else and it wasn’t), but I wrote a note to “K” and burned incense over, around, and in it while telling “K” I wanted this to be her sanctified space for giving and receiving sacrifices, notes, and such… then I lit a candle and laid down.
Suffice it to say she LOVED this. She got so extremely physical it was amazing…I could sense she was pleased and I was pleased too-just puts this desire to rest but also out of sight.
I thought I would throw this out there for others who perhaps can’t have a physical shelf or table (sometimes it is space and sometimes other people), but this box is tucked away and even has a lock if I so choose to secure it that way as well.
