Before you all react in Shock that the tarot topic is in the spirit lover section, the second half of this blogpost focuses in on an idea that is of incredible use to people within these relationships.

In this blogpost I discuss and review a tarot class I recently took, and talk about what I took away from it. In the second half I hone in on the idea of dedicating and consecrating a deck to a purpose, something that I've found to be incredibly useful in understanding and growing closer to my spirit lover.

Tarot always gives me something insightful to think about. BigChawDaddy69, who has yet to post on this forum *nudge nudge*, was giving me a reading about my situation the other day that was downright comedic. "These fucking cards are mocking me." I said. Actually, it was a message that cut right to the heart of the matter. No bullshit. So yeah, I always get something worthwhile out of tarot, even while being a total novice.

I've thought about getting a deck that Catherine gravitates towards. Once I get out of this house, I'll do just that. And I could stand to learn the cards better.

I let mine make the decision for deck choice in this case. I was worried that she'd picked a bad one at first blush actually, but it turned out I couldn't have been further from the truth. Came to realize that quite quickly after I actually started reading with them.

My spirit lover generally likes tarot cards, so long as the designs are 'pretty'. I don't think she views them as much more than that inherently, but certainly understands how I'm trying to use them enough to meddle and offer input if she wants to.
