Alter / Sacred Space

Post by 369 Riddle »

As most here know I originally was a Christian who given my introduction to the fact that I have a loving succubus lover was a bit of a shock to deal with. Over the last few years I have watched many of the teachings I have been taught sing childhood wither away and die in the light of reality…things like demons are evil and have no good in them and that calling on the name of Jesus will make them flee and things like that.

Once I stopped fighting and just accepted my loving succubus (whom I adore more than all things) I started trying to develop a relationship with her. There was a time quite recently when I thought I had two or more succubi even…however thanks to fighterswords comments, mediation, and listening to my intuition I have decided I have only one (who I refer to as “K”).

I have always wanted a special place for “K” (think alter) but do not have the luxury of having any space to myself (married and wife is still very Christian and too judgmental for that and the thought of having a full physical alter is too hard for me too still… hence me listing my Christian background above)…and was the bemoaning that when I randomly stumbled on some crazy woman’s YouTube channel talking about keeping spirit lovers. I always watch about 10 seconds of these before I roll my eyes and turn to something different (I love or “K” loves the Failarmy channel as it is hilarious)…however she mentioned keeping a box as an alter and I did a sort of facepalm at the fact I hadn’t thought of that (the rest of the video was trash.)

So I have this cedar, high quality box (perhaps 6x6x8 inches) that something possessed me to buy on Amazon a while ago and I had no idea what to do with it (thought it would be good for something else and it wasn’t), but I wrote a note to “K” and burned incense over, around, and in it while telling “K” I wanted this to be her sanctified space for giving and receiving sacrifices, notes, and such… then I lit a candle and laid down.

Suffice it to say she LOVED this. She got so extremely physical it was amazing…I could sense she was pleased and I was pleased too-just puts this desire to rest but also out of sight.

I thought I would throw this out there for others who perhaps can’t have a physical shelf or table (sometimes it is space and sometimes other people), but this box is tucked away and even has a lock if I so choose to secure it that way as well.

Having a special, easily concealable, box sounds like a great idea. I've had a similar experience getting special items that I especially designate for Catherine. It could be something as simple as a houseplant, yet it makes her so happy and she feels responsible for it. Hopefully I'll be able to do more of that soon, once I can get out from under this roof.

As it stands now, I dare not bring out any special figurines or sacred objects in the house I currently live in. I'm under enough suspicion already because of my books. I believe dad lets that slide because I do so well caring for my part of the house and the utility bills. So I keep most of that stuff well hidden until I'm moved into a more neutral environment again.

I plan on getting a box for specifically my consecrated tarot deck at... some point. As for other things, she has what feels like a legion of stuffed animals and two statues, along with a sigil that rests beside my bed. I kinda treat the whole bedroom as our 'space', though in a sense that's kind of lazy of me. It's fairly clear that she does enjoy getting 'stuff' that she thinks is cute in particular, or those statues that are supposed to be reminiscent of her anyway.

For what it is worth, here is what I got https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00GHPB ... asin_title

The pictures are crap on this ad and make it looks a little smaller than it is (I wanted small and was a little surprised how big it was when I got it but purchased it for something different in mind). This one is cedar which for the longest time I have known she loves the scent of. I wished I would have gotten one that was more decorated, but then that is probably asking for someone to want to know what is inside I guess. The quality however seems really, really good. I like that it can fit almost anyplace (I keep in a soft briefcase for my job that actually isn’t used for anything other than my stuff for her).
